Artichoke has been working with teachers and young people from 18 primary schools across Liverpool. Pupils from the participating schools enjoyed a special trip to see the first awakening of the spider on Friday 5th September. Teachers were then invited to take part in a workshop day led by arts education specialist Dale Rooks and were also provided with a resource pack with inspirational starting points for a wealth of imaginative work in school.
The resource pack is now available to download from this site. The aim of the pack is to provide a framework for developing a scheme of work which will engage young people in an exciting, stimulating and rich programme of learning, capturing their enthusiasm and imagination. The resource pack draws on drama techniques and activities as a way of delivering projects in many different curriculum areas. Links are made to the appropriate National Curriculum Programmes of Study for Key Stage Two.
